My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Picks

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is back! The sale opened to the public a couple of days ago on July 20th and ends August 5th. This year I decided to focus on my top beauty picks. For makeup I'm really loving the Bobbi Brown glow set and the amazing looking Too Faced chocolate set, both are on sale for under $50! For skin care I'm obsessed with Paul's Choice exfoliant duo and the Arcona toner pads, they both seem like they would keep your skin clear of all blemishes. Finally for hair care, the Ouai summer faves set and the Kiehl's amino acid shampoo and conditioner set are on sale for under $40, they seem like they would do wonders for your hair.

Currently Craving: All Things Fendi

I've been lusting after the recent revival of the Fendi logo print. A couple of months ago Fendi released "Fendi Reloaded" a capsule collection that features their iconic FF logo print on almost everything. The double F print is bold but neutral enough to work with almost anything in your wardrobe. I'm loving the use of the traditional Fendi print and the graphic black and white version. The bold use of the FF print on the popular Peekaboo and Kan I bags add a extra must have quality to them. The use of the FF print on the slide sandals add a lot of luxe to these summer essentials. If you like something a little bit more subtle I'm loving the use of the FF print on small leather goods, belts or bag charms you get the look without all the $$$ commitment. May & June Favorites

My favorites from the months of May and June!

Fashion & Accessiores
Universal Thread Romper (sold out, similar here & here)

Movies & Television
Won't You Be My Neighbor - This needs to win best documentary at the Oscar's! I grew up watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood so the nostalgia this docu gave me literally had me tearing up in the theater.  *Confession time* I sometimes sing "Its A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" when I get home from work and I'm changing into my lounge wear 😆.

Westworld Season 2 - I love this complex and hard to love show. Season 2 was a whirl wind of events that answered a lot of questions from season one. I thought Jeffery Wright, who plays Bernard, was the stand out star for season 2, I would argue that the whole season was mostly built around his performance. Thandie Newton, James Marsden and Ed Harris were also major highlights for me. I love the level of detail that show-runners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan put into the show. For those who like shows that require a little homework and research, Westworld is for you. My favorite episodes from this season  were The Riddle of the Sphinx, Kiksuya, and The Passenger.

Glow Season 2 - A delight of a show thats so easy to binge, after you finish it, all you want is more. Allison Brie is her usual amazing self, she is just so likable and does a great job leading the show. I love that the show took time to let us get to better know some of the ladies of GLOW. I especially loved the back story of Kia Stevens character Tamme, the episode "Mother of All Matches" did an amazing job of showing the complicated emotions that Tamme had playing such a stereotypical image of a "welfare queen". Chris Howell as Bash, was another highlight for me I loved every moment he was on screen. I like to be invested in the characters of a show, Glow does such an amazing job of making me care so much about the characters.

Music
Janelle Monae - Dirty Computer - Dirty Computer is Janelle Monae's third studio album. I love that Monae is such a unique artist who is not afraid to take risk and be super different. My favorite songs from the album are Pynk, Take A Byte, Make Me Feel and I Got The Juice.

Troye Sivan - Bloom - I've loved Troye Sivan for a long time now. His new single, Bloom, from his upcoming album has been my obsession for weeks. Sivan has such an amazing voice and his music always puts me in a mood of delight.

Backstreet Boys - Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Backstreet's back alright! I'm loving this new single from the Backstreet Boys, its amazing how the group is still together and making great music.

Cosmo's Midnight - What Comes Next - Cosmo's Midnight is an Australian music duo consisting of twins Cosmo and Patrick. What Comes Next is the first studio album from the duo, my favorite songs from the album are Lowkey, Polarised, Get To Know and History.
