My Current Favorites & Product Obsessions

Its been a long time since my last blog post...but I'm back! Over the past months I've accumulated some favorites that have been essentials in my daily routine, simplified my life or just made me happy. For my favorites I've included the makeup, skincare and hair care products that I've been obsessed with. I've also included some fashion and nerdy bits that I've been loving since the beginning of the year.

1. Fenty Beauty Pro Kiss'r Lip Balm - I've been obsessed with this new lip balm from Fenty Beauty. Made with shea and mango seed butters this non-greasy lip balm leaves my lips looking soft and feeling moisturized.

2. Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Bronzer (Mocha Mami) - I have looked high and low for a bronzer to replace my beloved discontinued Cover Girl Queen Bronzer, that was my ride or die for years. So when Fenty Beauty announced earlier this year that they would be releasing a range of bronzers I was so excited. Finding a bronzer that is dark enough to show up on my deep skin tone has always been a struggle but I'm happy to report that the Sun Stalk'r bronzer in shade Mocha Mami is an amazing option. The matte finish bronzer is long wearing, transfer resistant bronzer and available in 8 shades. The shade Mocha Mami has deep warm/red undertones, if you have a more neutral undertone like me be sure to use a light hand.

3. Black Radiance BB Cream -A little goes a long way with this BB cream, it gives pretty good coverage to any imperfections. I like to add a little powder to set it and add even more coverage for my daily look.

4. Black Radiance Artisan Baked Blush (Brick House) - Another Black Radiance product I've been loving is the artisan baked blush in the shade brick house. Perfect for deeper skin tones this blush gives me the perfect amount of color to my cheeks. Hack: it makes a great eyeshadow.

5. Fenty Beauty Kilawatt Foil Highlighter (Penny4uthots) - I've never really been big into highlighting,  but when I saw the swatches of this highlighter on a Youtube makeup unboxing I had to have it. I really enjoy using it as an eyeshadow and even a shimmering blush.

6. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb (Fenty Glow) - I love a good lip product, this lipgloss from Fenty Beauty gives you high shine and moisture without the nasty stickiness.

7. Real Techniques Make Up Must Have Brush Kit - I'm a big fan of Real Techniques brushes they are of amazing quality without the high price tag. I love the deluxe crease and setting brush from this set, they make blending cream and powder eyeshadows so much easier.

1. Pixi DetoxifEYE - These hydrogel patches contour to your face shape and help de-puff/hydrate your under-eyes while also reducing dark circles. They are a perfect addition to your at home facial routine.

2. Thayers Witch Hazel Astringent - I've always heard about the benefits of witch hazel, but I never took the time to try it until now. Verdict?...its amazing after I remove my makeup and cleanse I like applying the witch hazel with a cotton round all over my face. Surprisingly it does a great job moisturizing my skin and preventing any breakouts.

3. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - I love adding this micellar cleansing water from Garnier to my makeup cleaning wipes. It makes the arduous process of removing my makeup at the end of the day so much easier and actually enjoyable.

4. Swisspers Premium Cotton Rounds - The quality of these cotton rounds is amazing, I like using them to apply my toner and any other skin care products.

1. Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Lotion - I love the Jamaican Black Castor Oil range from Shea Moisture, I like using this lotion on wet hair to moisturize and help my curls pop.

2. Edge Booster Pomade | Edge Brush - The struggle of maintaining my 4c hairline is a real one for me. Fortunately this pomade from Edge Booster has been a great addition to my hair styling routine. When used with edge brush the task of laying my edges gets so much easier.

3. Scunci Spiral Hair Elastics - I'm loving these glitter and iridescent spiral hair ties from Scunci, they keep my hair out of my face without the damaging effects of a traditional hair tie.

4. Wet Brush Flex Dry Brush - Works great on wet or dry hair, the bristles are gentle on the hair and does a great job detangling.

1. MICHAEL Michael Kors Mercer Crossbody -  I'm loving the versatility of this MK Mercer crossbody bag. It's a small bag that packs a big punch, you can carry quite a lot of stuff without having to lug around a large tote everywhere.

2. Golden Coast Checkered Vans - These have been my go to everyday shoes that surprisingly work well with any outfit I'm rocking. I know the slip-on checkered Vans are way more popular, but I find that they are a little too narrow for my wide feet. I need this checkered version in all the colors!

3. ASOS Design Curve Lounge Jumpsuit - Loving how comfy this ASOS jumpsuit is, the soft ribbed fabric is perfect for slouching around the house on a lazy day.

4. Wild Fable Square Sunglasses in Pink - I was watching a vlog on youtube (#youtubemademebuyit) when I saw these stunning and extra AF sunnies. I love the large pink square frame and the rhinestones around the frame. They are the perfect sunnies that will add a whole lot extra-ness to any outfit you are rocking.

1. Star Wars Lightsaber Heat Change Mug - I'm a big Star Wars fan so when I saw this mug I had to have it, makes drinking your tea/coffee all the more enjoyable.

2. Chotech Wireless Charger - Need in inexpensive wireless charger? This charger from Chotech will do the trick and it comes in pink!

3. Han Solo's Dice - This may be the nerdiest thing on this list...but you can't pass up the dice Han Solo used to win the Millennium Falcon! Like Han I hang it on my rear view mirror for luck. 😬

4. Star Wars Episode IV Opening Crawl Throw Blanket - A New Hope is my favorite Star Wars movie, so finding this opening crawl blanket was the best thing ever. Makes binge watching Star Wars all the more comfy.

5. Anker Ultra Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard - I've needed a reliable wireless keyboard for awhile now, this Anker keyboard is a great buy. The price is right, the battery last forever (I've had it since April and haven't needed to charge it yet) and looks nice on my desk.
