January Favorites

Giorgio Armani Si Eau de Parfum
I'm super picky when it comes to fragrances, I've always had the hardest time finding a fragrance that does not make me feel like washing it off as soon as I spray it. I discovered Giorgio Armani Si through scentbird.com, its a subscription service that sends you 30 day supply of a fragrance each month. Armani Si was actually my December fragrance, but I only starting using it January and it quickly became my favorite. I'm not the best at describing scents, but Armani describes the scent as an modern chypre, with deep blackcurrant nectar, airy florals, and musky blond wood.

Ne-yo - Libra Scale
Libra Scale was released way back in 2010 and at the time of its release I was obsessed with it. But with time I slowly forgot all about the album, until now. I was listening to a random station on my Spotify when the song, One In A Million starting playing and I was automatically reminded why I love this album so much. I love all the songs on the album, but One In A Million, Genuine Only, Champagne Life, and Crazy Love are absolute stand outs.

Dove Shea Butter & Warm Vanilla Body Wash
The scent of this Dove body wash is so good, I actually look forward to taking a shower in the morning just so that I can enjoy the smell.

Sole Society Nevin Faux Leather Bucket Bag
I've wanted a bucket bag for awhile now but I was not sure if I truly liked the style. I wanted a chance to try the bucket bag style out without having to shell out a lot of money. Luckily for me I was randomly browsing through Nordstrom online when I came across the Sole Society Nevin. The bag is super soft and looks great, I love that its super roomy for carrying a lot of things. The only con for me is the shoulder strap is really long, I would prefer the option of being able to carry the bag higher up or on the crock of my arm.

Chapstick Duo
I randomly came across the chapstick duo's on a trip to Walmart. I thought the packing was cute and I'm a sucker for any thing pink. The duo is styled similar to the EOS lip balms, but instead of getting one lip balm you get two that inter-lock with each other, giving you two in one option. I currently have the watermelon/strawberry and the coconut/mint duo's in my handbag.

Mary Kay Skinvigorate Cleansing Brush
I've been using the Mary Kay cleansing brush for a quite awhile, but I did not realize the brush was a huge necessity for me until the battery died and I was not able to use it for a couple of days. Just using my hands to cleanse me face wasn't work for me, using the cleansing brush with my favorite face cleanser was the only way my face felt clean. For just $50 the cleansing brush by Mary Kay is a great price point if you just want to try a cleansing brush before you invest in more high end and expensive brush like the Clarisonic.

The Knocks ft. Absofacto - Trouble
The Knocks are an American electronic music duo, the song Classic from their 2016 album 55 is everything I love in an electronic song. Their new single Trouble featuring Absofacto from their upcoming EP Testify, has been a favorite of mine for the past month, I just put it on repeat and find my self head bobbing and body shaking through every second of the song.

Electric Guest - Back For Me
I only just discovered Electric Guest just last year and I've quickly fallen in love with virtually all of their songs. Back For Me has been one of my favorite songs this month, its the perfect song to listen to on my morning commute.

Taboo
Taboo is a British TV series that airs of FX here in the United States. It premiered at the beginning of  January and ever since then I've been obsessed. Tom Hardy is his usual amazing self and the plot of Taboo keeps you wanting for more.
