October Favorites

It's hard to believe that the month of October is already over! I love that October is the beginning of my favorite time of year. Its pumpkin picking season, the leaves are changing, the weather is getting colder and course Halloween! For October I have a lot of music and television favorites. One life changing movie fav and one fashion fav. Plus a few skincare, makeup, and haircare favorites.

Blade Runner 2049
Words can adequately describe how much I loved this movie! I the movie was the perfect sequel to the 1982 cult classic Blade Runner. I loved every second and frame of this movie, I not gonna lie I left the theater with tears in my eyes at how beautiful this movie was. Full review coming soon!

Rationale - Rationale
Rationale released his self titled debut album at the beginning of the month. I've been looking forward to this album for years and it surely didn't disappoint! Rationale has such an amazing voice, his new album features a mix of new songs and some older songs from his EP's that I've loved over the years. My absolute favorite songs are Oil and Water, Prodigal Son, Into the Blue, Phenomenal, and Somewhere to Belong.

DVSN - Morning After
The Canadian R&B duo is back with their second studio album and I'm obsessed with it! I absolutely loved their first album Sept 5th that was released last year, so the release of a new album so soon after the last one dropped was a amazing treat for me. The dvsn duo is made up of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85, who also is a mega producer for Drake. If you love R&B, dvsn will be right up your alley, my favorite songs from the album are Run Away, Think About Me, Don't Choose, and Morning After.

Rhye - Taste
Rhye is back with a new single, Taste, as they ready their sophomore album. I've had their debut album Woman on heave rotation for years. I love the change of tone this song gives compared to the singles Please and Summer Days that they previously released. Taste makes me super exited for the new album to drop.

Majid Jordan - The Space Between
The Space Between is Majid Jordan's second studio album after the release of their self titled 2016 album. Like my other favorite dvsn, Majid Jordan is signed to OVO Sound record label. I love Majid Jordan's sound so much! My favorite songs from the album are Gave Your Love Away, OG Heartthrob, Not Ashamed, Phases, and My Imagination which features dvsn 😆.

Mr. Robot season 3
Mr. Robot is back again with season 3, I may be some of the few people who actually liked season 2. But if you were a part of the season 2 dislikers the good news is that with season 3 Mr. Robot is back to true form. Watch all three seasons on USA Network.
